Spanish Virtually is an online platform in which users learn to speak and understand Spanish
through live 1-on-1 video lessons with native speakers from around the world.

Each lesson lasts 55 minutes. If you would like to have longer lessons, you are able to book back-to-back lessons with the same professor.

Your professor will add you on Skype before your lesson. Sign on at the designated time of your lesson and begin learning Spanish!

At the moment, we only offer live 1-on-1 private classes, as we believe this to be the most effective way to learn a new language.
It is possible that we will add group lessons one day if we hear strong support from our customers.

While both regions speak Spanish, there are subtle differences in the way each region communicates with the language. For instance, Spanish from Spain incorporates “Vosotros” (you all), while Spanish from Latin America does not. Because we feel that Latin American Spanish is the more common of the two, we currently teach Latin American Spanish. Upon request by the student, we would be more than happy to teach you Spanish spoken in Spain as well.

Credits can be purchased via the pricing page. We accept payments via Paypal or any major credit card.
After purchasing credits, you will be able to book lessons with any of our professors.

Once you have purchased credits, simply access your Book a Lesson section in your Dashboard.
You will then be able to select a professor and select a time slot based on their availability.

Our schedules are displayed in EST/EDT. Please make sure to convert the day/time selected to your local timezone.

In order to access all of the resources we offer, you must be a registered user. Register today!

The textbook is only available for users who have purchased at least 4 total credits in the system.
Sections of the textbook will be released when the user begins to learn what is in that section of the textbook.

Currently, our textbook is titled “Spanish Verb Tenses” by Dorothy Richmond, which is available through McGraw Hill publishers.

At the moment, we offer grammar and vocabulary with flashcards, our textbook and numerous learning guides to help you excel as quickly and effectively as possible. They are all located on our Resources page.

Absolutely! If your lesson is more than 24 hours away you will have the ability to cancel your lesson in your Dashboard and you will not lose your credit. Please be aware that any lesson you cancel that is within 24 hours of the lesson start time will not be refunded.

Absolutely! If your lesson is more than 24 hours away you will have the ability to reschedule your lesson.
If the lesson is less than 24 hours away, you will not be allowed to reschedule the lesson and your credit will not be refunded.
Please use the cancel a lesson function in your Dashboard and reschedule your lesson at a more convenient time.

In the rare event a professor cancels a lesson, you will not lose any credits. However, you will have to book a new lesson.

Sometimes, the internet gods wake up feeling groggy and decide to take it out on their children.
When this happens, a lesson may be dropped mid lesson due to poor connection. Not to worry!
We will reschedule your lesson for the minutes lost. Please reach out to your professor or our support team at support@spanishvirtually.com for additional details.

We guarantee you 100% satisfaction with your Spanish lessons. In the event that you are not satisfied with your lesson for whatever reason, we will refund you 100% of the cost.
